GRAETC’s 2023-2024 Goals

Fostering Collaborative, Tech-Enhanced Excellence Across Divisions

During our opening meeting, we took time as a committee to formulate goals for the 2023-2024 school year which serve to direct our work and exemplify our mission. This year, we will share 100% of our professional learning with GRAETC members, division stakeholders, and division teachers via our blog, email, and social media accounts. Throughout the year we will also revamp our blog and reinvigorate our social media platforms. Make sure to follow along with our 2023-2024 school year journey on X, Instagram, and Facebook!

We will also work this year to deliver Symposium events on high-interest instructional technology topics to Region One division stakeholders. Symposiums provide an in-person opportunity to connect our Region One learning community in a post-pandemic world, where we sometimes struggle to connect, face to face. Keep your eye on our blog and social media platforms for more information on these exciting events! Along with working to deliver successful symposium events, we will also work this year to continue GRAETC’s commitment to funding grants for educators across Virginia. You can find more information on our mini-grants process, in this blog post

Finally, we will continue to work to grow our annual EdTechRVA Conference, which offers an opportunity for educators from across the state to engage in meaningful collaborative, professional learning. Again, keep your eye on our blog and social media platforms for details on this exciting event!

If you have any ideas on how GRAETC can support you, or your division, please do not hesitate to reach out to one of your division representatives, or myself, directly via email. I am looking forward to leading this impactful organization for the 2023-2024 school year!
