GRAETC Mini Grants: Building Capacity with Instructional Technology Resources

The GRAETC mission is to positively impact the Greater Richmond Area educational community by providing connected learning opportunities that build capacity around the innovative and sound pedagogical use of instructional technology resources. One of the ways in which the GRAETC Executive Committee supports this mission, is by awarding annual mini-grants through a blind peer review process. We were able to award four mini-grants for the 2024-2025 school year! We announced these winners in June 2024 and the delivery of materials began at the beginning of this school year.

Funding this year supported building a 21st Century Art Room, purchasing Meta Quest 2’s, building a Middle School E-Sports Program, and purchasing for Computer Science Initiatives

GRAETC’s next mini-grant cycle opened earlier this month on March 1st, 2025 for the 2025-2026 school year.
